Barbara DuffyVice President of Community Relations
Barbara Duffy oversees community relations and public education and supports the divisional vice presidents in applying for and securing both public and private funding. Ms. Duffy began her work at BAMSI in 2008. Prior to this time, she was the Chief Executive Officer of MY TURN, Incorporated, a position she held for 24 years.
Ms. Duffy was selected by the Massachusetts Council of Human Service Providers as its 2006 Executive Director of the Year. In the fall of 2005, she also received a Community Cornerstone Award from Women in Development of Greater Boston. In 2002, Ms. Duffy received the Metro South Chamber of Commerce Athena Award for outstanding leadership.
Ms. Duffy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island, Master of Education from Rhode Island College, and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in educational leadership and management from Fitchburg State College.
