Joy ReedSenior Vice President of Operations
Joy Reed joined BAMSI in March of 1999. She has over 20 years of experience in a non-profit environment, and her specialty is working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, traumatic head injuries, and mental illness. Ms. Reed also has expertise in public health-related issues.
Currently, Ms. Reed oversees the Day and Residential division of BAMSI, made up of over 50 programs that include Family Support, Day Habilitation, and Residential Services for individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and serious mental illness. Prior to joining BAMSI, Ms. Reed was Director at a community service group in Wakefield, Massachusetts.
Ms. Reed graduated from Hofstra University with a concentration in Psychology. She also has a Master of Education in Counseling from Bridgewater State College.
