BAMSI’s employment team embraces the belief that everyone has talent and the ability to contribute to society. Staff knows that a career and employment are two vital elements for those impacted by an acquired or traumatic brain injury to successfully integrate back into their community.
Employment provides a sense of self-worth and personal satisfaction that should be available to all people, regardless of disability. BAMSI’s employers embrace this philosophy and partner with BAMSI to create a diverse workforce that maximizes the skills and talents of all individuals.
Staff assists employers by providing those persons served with the tools necessary to have on-going success in their chosen career. Staff provides career planning where person served explore their interests and abilities to find the right career path. Staff also provides job readiness training including vocational assessments, resume development, and interviewing skills. BAMSI provides employers with pre-screened individuals who have career goals and who are motivated to work. Additionally, staff both find employment opportunities through job development and then provide consistent job coaching to support the employer and those we serve with the goal of continued success
