CARVALHO CAC CHARITY OPEN |

Pouring
rain on Monday couldn’t put a damper on the
spirit at the Ocean Course at The Club at
New Seabury for the David |
|
Carvalho CAC Charity Open,
which is a partnership between BAMSI and the
Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office
that provides centralized services to
children who suffer from physical or sexual
abuse. District Attorney Timothy Cruz and
BAMSI’s Chief Executive Officer Anthony
Simonelli were joined by presenting sponsor
David Carvalho and about 100 brave golfers
who, despite the weather, enjoyed the day
and made it a great success for the
Children’s Advocacy Center. |

was the Annual National Night Out Against Crime at
the Brockton Rox game. As a result of BAMSI's

Duffy, Vice President of Community Relations at

SENIOR CITIZEN RECEPTION |

The Dorn-Davies
Senior Center sponsored the 12th Annual Senior
Citizen Reception on Tuesday, June 15th at the
Massasoit Conference Center. |
|
Distinguished speakers, including Mayor Linda
Balzotti, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy
Cruz, and Attorney Richard Lawton, addressed the
audience on a variety of issues particular to the
seniors. The Elderly Advocate Appreciation
Award was presented to Representative Christine
Canavan for her outstanding work with the elderly
community. The 500 senior citizens who
attended the event benefited from handouts and
information from vendors. The day also
included a luncheon and two musical performance,
which had the guests dancing and singing! |

METRO SOUTH ACADEMY |

Metro South Academy held its annual Commencement
Ceremony on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Welcoming
remarks were given by BAMSI |
|
Chief
Operations Officer, Vanessa Tierney and Joe
Marchisio from the Brockton Public Schools was the
keynote speaker. Anthony Simonelli, Chief
Executive Officer of BAMSI conferred the high school
diplomas on the six graduates who were greeted with
a warm applause by over 60 parents and friends who
attended the ceremony. |

TJF Memorial AIDS Walk |
|
|
|
|
The Thomas J. Fahey Jr., 19th Annual Memorial AIDS Walk is scheduled
for Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the BAMSI Administration Office,
10 Christy’s Drive, Brockton, MA at 8:45 a.m.
Please join us in supporting the TJF Memorial AIDS Walk to raise
community awareness and financial support for individuals and families
living in the Brockton Area infected by HIV/AIDS.
One hundred percent of all money raised from the walk will provide
emergency financial assistance to prevent homelessness, utility shut
off’s and out of pocket expenses associated with medical care.
Participants are encouraged to form an AIDS Walk team by recruiting
friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers, or classmates.
