Awarded in March of 2009, BAMSI Community Service
Agency of the Brockton Area community-based system of care, designed
to ensure that families and their children with significant emotional
and behavioral health needs obtain the services they need for success
in home, school, and community. The Community Service Agency model is
a delivery system being integrated through BAMSI’s Wraparound Family
Division whose function is to facilitate access to, and ensure
coordination of, care for youth with S.E.D.
Program goals include the following: Support Families, Assist the
Family in gaining a sense of competency in parenting a Child with SED
in order to keep the Child in their home and the community,
Appropriately reduce the use of inpatient services and/or long-term
residential services, Reduce involvement with the juvenile justice
system, and Provide quality services and monitor Parent and Youth
satisfaction with the CSA
Program services include intensive care coordination, family support
and training, behavior management, individualized care plan
coordination, care plan facilitation, care plan evaluation and follow
up, education and prevention, linkage to community based services and
activities, multi-lingual services, and crisis stabilization.
