Home Based TherapyBehavioral Health Services

Home based therapy is provided by licensed clinicians and follows all outpatient procedures as practiced in BAMSI’s outpatient clinics.  However, services take place in a location more convenient for the individual, such as their home or a community setting.  Many individuals in need of psychotherapy are housebound or have problems securing transportation.

The clinicians who provide home based therapy are committed to empowering people to achieve their full potential through a variety of therapeutic approaches.  Services are provided for adults who are experiencing difficulty in their lives due to psychiatric or emotional symptoms.  Some examples of difficulties may include emotional turmoil, life crises, marital or family difficulties, substance abuse (or dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse), major mental illness, and recovery from trauma suffered in childhood, among others.

Insurances accepted include Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, HMO Blue, Medicaid/Medicare, and other health plans.  We have a commitment to providing services to those in need and therefore have a reasonable reduced fee for those who are uninsured.
