Clubhouse

Creating A
Community

MISSION

Our Clubhouse supports individuals in recovery and helps them to improve their quality of life through a membership-based community center.

Monthly Clubhouse Newsletter

BAMSI’s Clubhouse offers people living with mental illness a community where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

BAMSI's Clubhouse Program is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.
Programs and services on-site, off-site, and remote are available to all members to meet the varied needs of those we serve!

Staff and members will conduct daily Reachout Services to members who may be isolated or hospitalized. If it is discovered that a member needs remote services, staff will work to ensure they have access to devices and affordable data/internet, providing support, education, and assistance, as needed.
Based on an internationally recognized model, Clubhouse members take an active role in operations and work with staff to develop skills in:
  • social networking
  • independent living
  • budgeting
  • accessing transportation
  • self-care
  • maintaining educational goals
  • dual recovery peer supports
  • securing and retaining employment
The Clubhouse is dedicated to supporting individuals in their recovery and helping to improve their quality of life through a membership-based community center. Members are encouraged to utilize their personal strengths to increase community integration, become more self-sufficient, enhance their general health, maintain safe and affordable housing, reduce experiences of disparity, and participate fully in and enjoy their community of choice.

The Clubhouse embraces partnership, collaboration, diversity and the richness of community life, relying on member participation and guidance to assure quality services.

"The Clubhouse community helps eliminate disadvantages experienced
by people living with mental health issues so they can live fulfilling lives
and be fully a part of their communities."
