Babacar Diop Appointed Chief Operating Officer of BAMSI

BROCKTON, MA (September 18, 2025) – BAMSI, one of Massachusetts’ largest and most diverse human services organizations, is proud to announce the appointment of Babacar Diop, MBA, as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Mr. Diop will guide daily operations across BAMSI’s broad portfolio of programs, including healthcare, mental and behavioral health, child and family services, and community living at 120 sites across the state.

Mr. Diop brings a distinguished record of executive leadership in healthcare and nonprofit management, with a career dedicated to advancing equity, access, and quality of care. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Deutsches Altenheim Legacy Life Care Management in West Roxbury, where he successfully led a multi-entity senior care campus through stabilization and growth. His achievements included service line expansion, financial improvement, workforce development, and enhanced compliance readiness.

A resident of Raynham, MA, Mr. Diop enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. His personal and professional life reflects a steadfast commitment to BAMSI’s mission of building stronger communities by helping every individual thrive.
