BAMSI Home
Everyone has a home at BAMSI
“One of my favorite things about BAMSI is
watching people excel.”Mekenzie Berry
Assistant Director
BAMSI’s caring, compassionate staff create houses that really feel like homes for individuals whom independent living proves difficult.
People living in BAMSI homes gain the tools to learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Some homes are dedicated to individuals with medically complex conditions that limit their mobility and require 24-hour nursing care. Others cater to adults with traumatic brain injuries or varying degrees of autonomy due to developmental, intellectual, or psychological disabilities. Regardless of the need, everyone can find a home at BAMSI.
Community Connections
Since 1975, BAMSI’s mission has been to help the people we serve build supportive relationships with peers, neighbors, and friends. The adults living in our programs challenge the stigmas associated with disability every day through the relationships they form. Whether it’s volunteering at our Brown Bag program, serving on our Person Served Advisory Board, attending day programs, or finding employment, our clients become empowered to learn from and serve their communities.
