We also provide internship opportunities for college students and those looking to gain practical clinical experience required for licensure. The primary objective for BAMSI’s internship program is to provide an opportunity to investigate a career opportunity in the non-profit industry with hands-on experience and to provide qualified Master’s level candidates with the practical experience needed to secure an advanced degree. Each year at BAMSI's Annual Board Meeting, three BAMSI staff members are honored with the Ruth Hurley Award. This award was named in honor of former employee Ruth Hurley. The recipients of this award demonstrats the qualities that were characteristic of Ruth: quiet strength, compassion, and humility that never seeks the spotlight.

One of this year's recipients is Donna Gibeault. Donna has been with BAMSI for 20 years!
