Employment Opportunities

Our employment opportunities include licensed clinicians, administrative staff, residential counselors, employment specialists, nursing staff, and many others.  In fact, BAMSI is one of the largest non-profit organizations in Massachusetts, employing nearly 2000 diverse individuals located in more than 120 locations stretching from Worcester east to Plymouth and throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.  Our job postings offer a variety of shifts and scheduled hours for Residential Counselors to deliver direct care, from full time to Relief as well as opportunities for full time, part time and per diem nursing.

As a culture, our common mission, vision and values distinguish us from other providers.  Our award-winning services areas include behavioral health services, day and residential services, elderly services, HIV services, housing and other essential services together with programs for children, youth and families.

We also provide internship opportunities for college students and those looking to gain practical clinical experience required for licensure. The primary objective for BAMSI’s internship program is to provide an opportunity to investigate a career opportunity in the non-profit industry with hands-on experience and to provide qualified Master’s level candidates with the practical experience needed to secure an advanced degree. Each year at BAMSI's Annual Board Meeting, three BAMSI staff members are honored with the Ruth Hurley Award. This award was named in honor of former employee Ruth Hurley. The recipients of this award demonstrats the qualities that were characteristic of Ruth: quiet strength, compassion, and humility that never seeks the spotlight.

One of this year's recipients is Donna Gibeault. Donna has been with BAMSI for 20 years!
