Department of Education Problem Resolution
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is committed to helping individuals and school districts resolve problems promptly. Laws exist to protect the rights of all students in the Commonwealth, and to ensure that all students receive equal educational opportunities.
Through its Problem Resolution System (PRS), the Department handles complaints that allege a school or a district is not meeting legal requirements for education.

BAMSI Early Intervention
Early Intervention programs evaluate and serve children from birth to age three born with prematurity, disabilities or who show symptoms of delay; they also offer integrated play groups for children and support services to families.
EI accepts referrals from health care professionals and families concerned about their child’s development.

The Department of Early Education and Care’s mission is to support the healthy growth and development of all children by providing high quality programs and resources for families and communities.

Massachusetts Early Intervention
The Department of Eary Education serves Massachusetts families with children under the age of three who are not reaching age-appropriate milestones, diagnosed with certain conditions, or have medical or social histories which may put them at risk for a developmental delay. EI services are meant to help support families and caregivers and to enhance the development and learning of infants and toddlers.

Self Help Inc.
Self Help Inc.’s Coordinated Family & Community Engagement (CFCE) program provides free educational activities, workshops, information, and resources for children and families. The mission of Self Help’s CFCE program is to help strengthen families and children through information and education so they can reach their full potential. We are committed to the Strengthening Families approach in servicing families.

Early Head Start
The Early Head Start Program is a federally funded program that provides comprehensive services to expectant families and families who have children birth to age 3 in Attleboro, Brockton, New Bedford, Norton, and the Greater Taunton area.
