Very soon, you will notice that we are changing this section of our website from the BAMSI Blog to a celebration of some of our wonderful staff.  With nearly 2,000 employees who dedicate themselves to impacting the lives of the 25,000 people we serve, we will be sharing information about those employees who have been recognized with our prestigious “Extra Distance” awards.

This newly designed section will include information about what makes these individuals (or teams) stand out for their work in going the “Extra Distance”.  BAMSI presents the Extra Distance Award three times per year to individual employees and teams to recognize performance in collaboration with others that fosters team spirit and demonstrates a best-practice model of service. There will be a brief narrative describing the tremendous work of our winners along with a picture of each individual or the team who has been presented with this recognition.
