BAMSI’s TCORE Hosts Brockton’s First Pride Event to Kick Off Pride Month

BROCKTON, MA (June 1, 2024) – BAMSI’s TCORE (Transgender Community Outreach and Education center) proudly kicked off Pride Month with Brockton’s inaugural Pride event on June 1st. The community came together in a vibrant celebration of love, diversity, and inclusivity at this historic gathering.

The event was a resounding success, drawing attendees from all corners of Brockton and beyond. Attendees enjoyed a festive atmosphere filled with delicious offerings from local food trucks, unique crafts from talented vendors, and colorful face painting for all ages.

The event was attended by the presence of Mayor Robert Sullivan, who expressed his support for the LGBTQ+ community and highlighted the importance of events like these in fostering unity and understanding.

BAMSI’s TCORE continues to be a beacon of support for the transgender community, offering vital resources, education, and advocacy year-round.

As Pride Month unfolds, BAMSI invites everyone to embrace the spirit of love and acceptance that was so beautifully showcased at Brockton’s first Pride event. Together, we can build a future where every individual is celebrated for who they are.

A Transgender Emergency Relief Fund was established to help shoulder the costs of individuals who need assistance with medications, transportation, medical appointments and procedures. To make a contribution to this scholarship fund, please visit bamsi.info/BAMSI_donate and designate the donation to LGBTQ+.
