BAMSI Hosts Virtual Event
“Mental Health Matters: Time to Talk, Time to Listen”

The event will be hosted by ‘The Voice of the Patriots’ Bob Socci and held on Wednesday, May
19th at 6 pm on Zoom and Facebook Live.

In honor of May being “Mental Health Awareness” month, BAMSI is thrilled to be hosting a unique
virtual event that will tell real stories of individuals who have faced adversity and challenges in their own
mental health experiences. Through this event, BAMSI seeks to address the stereotypes surrounding
mental health and normalizing asking for help. We are so thankful to Jordon’s Furniture for their
sponsorship and continued support of BAMSI.

Patriots Play-by-Play Voice Bob Socci will moderate a one-hour discussion with a panel of four
individuals who will share their stories of lived experience with mental health issues.
“It is time to talk and time to listen,” said BAMSI CEO Peter Evers. “The stories will be moving and real,
with the expressed intention to create a dialogue in our communities about mental health. The need to
create a system where parity exists between physical and mental health is real.”

The virtual event will begin at 6 pm on Wednesday on May 19th, with the public being encouraged to
register to ask questions or engage in the dialogue.
