Brockton, MA – BAMSI is proud to announce the 3rd Annual BAMSI Pride celebration, taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 10 Christy’s Drive in Brockton.
Join us as we kick off Pride Month 2026 by celebrating our vibrant LGBTQIA+ community and the power of belonging, pride, and connection. This free, family-friendly event will feature food, live entertainment, face painting, local vendors, community resource tables, and free HIV, Hepatitis C, and STI testing provided by BAMSI’s COPE programs.
We are proud to provide affirming, person-centered care and support to LGBTQIA+ individuals through programs such as TCORE (Transgender Community Outreach Resources and Empowerment) and HIV services offered through COPE (Community Outreach, Prevention, and Education). Many individuals served through these programs face barriers to care, including stigma, discrimination, and social isolation, making equitable access to welcoming, inclusive services and community support especially important for those who have historically been marginalized or excluded.
Inclusion is one of our core values, and we are committed to creating spaces where all people are welcomed, valued, respected, and supported. BAMSI actively promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and accessibility throughout every aspect of our organization and within the communities we serve.
“Pride is about more than celebration,” said Sonia D’Alarcao, Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at BAMSI. “It’s about creating spaces where people feel a true sense of belonging. We’re proud to stand alongside our LGBTQIA+ community and to help foster environments where people are respected, supported, and embraced for who they are, in all aspects of their identities.”
This event is open to all, and everyone is encouraged to attend as we celebrate Pride Month together in Brockton.
