Hussam Atab, Executive Vice President Human Resources comes to BAMSI with over 20 years of human resources experience, including eight years in senior leadership roles. He holds a double master’s degree, one of which is in Human Resource Management from Charles Sturt University in Australia.
Hussam’s career spans both the for profit and not-for-profit worlds. He began in the technology sector with large companies like Motorola and Dell, and for the past five years, he has focused on human services, most recently as Head of HR at the Edinburgh Centre.
Hussam is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. He is passionate about creating an environment where everyone has an opportunity to reach their full potential in a multicultural environment. He is drawn to BAMSI as he sees an agency with enormous potential for growth and innovation.
Outside of work, Hussam is an outdoor enthusiast. In his free time, he enjoys biking, swimming, kayaking, and hiking. He has four children, some of whom are in Australia.
